Unleaded Racing Fuels

VP Streetblaze 100 (MS100)

VP100 (aka StreetBlaze 100) is a 100 octane unleaded gasoline specifically engineered for high-performance street vehicles including luxury sports cars, muscle cars, street rods, tuner cars, sportbikes, cruisers and more. Oxygenated with ethanol, this CARB-legal fuel is environmentally friendly and street legal in most areas. It contains no metal compounds and won’t harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors.

VP C10

The best non-oxygenated unleaded racing gasoline on the market. C10 does not contain any metal compounds and will not harm catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. Used by national champions in SCCA and IMSA stock classes.

VP Export


Designed for FIA rally cars with 4-stroke atmospheric and Group N Turbo engines. Makes significantly more power and torque than other fuels that conform to FIA Appendix J specifications, along with faster accelerations and shorter turbo response time.

VP MS109

In engines that can run on pump gas, MS109 is a direct replacement that produces more power than any other unleaded fuel - up to 5% more than premium unleaded. Recommended for applications with up to 25 lbs of boost and naturally aspirated engines with CRs up to 15:1. Compared to other unleaded fuels, MS109 offers better detonation protection as well. Excellent in crate engine applications.

VP Unleaded Extreme

VP Unleaded Extreme can be used in high boost or naturally aspirated applications, or mixed with other unleaded fuels to increase performance and octane. It can handle compression ratios up to 15:1 and with a MON of 110, its detonation protection far surpasses all other unleaded fuels on the market. Whether you mix it or run it straight, this is the best unleaded fuel on the planet!

Leaded Racing Fuels

VP X16

The perfect blend of performance and economy, VP's X16 was designed for naturally aspirated engines and is an economically priced option for two and four-stroke engines with compression ratios of up to 16:1 and for engines using nitrous up to 300 HP. X16 offers the power and protection of leading 116 octane racing fuels for a lower price and is an ideal fuel for a wide array of motor sports applications.

VP C16

Used in turbocharged engines, blown engines and nitrous applications with CRs up to 17:1. Recommended by the top nitrous oxide companies. Spec Fuel for NHRA Comp Eliminator.

VP Q16

Q16 will work well in any drag racing application -- naturally aspirated, nitrous or blowers. Q16 is highly oxygenated, requiring a 4-6% increase in fuel flow, which will make 3-5% more power than competitive 116 octane fuels. Q16's oxygenation will significantly expand the range of air/fuel ratio acceptability, so performance will be more consistent and won't vary as dramatically with altitude or density changes. For bracket racers, variations in ET from run to run will be substantially reduced. This added fuel flow also effectively increases its octane by 6-8 numbers above its standard ASTM octane rating.

VP Import

Maximum power and torque in small displacement, high RPM, all motor, turbocharged or nitrous sport compact applications. Makes 5% more power than C16 and similar nonoxygenated fuels. Works well under high temperatures due to mechanical heat.

Others

VP C85

If you’re committed to using E85 type fuels, C85 is by far your best choice. Conventional E85 fuels are notoriously inconsistent, requiring up to a two-jet swing in tuning from one batch of E85 to the next. By contrast, C85 is blended with a consistent proportion of ethanol and every other component in every drum. In addition to taking all the guesswork out of tuning, C85 makes up to 4% more power and torque than conventional E85. With higher quality pure components, C85 is superior to E85 in terms of cooling effect, resistance to detonation and even includes corrosion inhibitors to fight the issues presented by ethanol. C85 works well in drag racing, oval track, off road and virtually any other automotive application, in particular forced induction applications due to its lower vapour pressure. Tests of C85 indicate most applications will require richening up by 1 jet size, or 2-3% over current jetting. Note that for racers unwilling to invest in the new carb and expensive fuel system upgrade required for E85, VP’s MS109, VP113 and Q16 continue to be the best race gas alternatives for the money.

VP M5

M5 is simply the best performing methanol on the market. With its upgraded combustion additives, M5 will make more power than M3, i.e., 5-7% more power than standard methanol, while offering the same or better protection against detonation. Like M3, M5's improved vaporization offers a wider acceptable range of air/fuel ratios and tuning. It also yields faster combustion speeds which lead to closer EGT's from cylinder to cylinder, providing more consistent performance from run to run. M5 is not pure methanol and won't pass a water test.

VP Lane Choice 7 Track Adhesive

VP’s premier traction compound, LC7 represents the pinnacle of performance across the widest range of temperatures from cold to hot. It’s recommended for 30º to 150º+ track temperatures, thus will provide outstanding performance at most all tracks in virtually any weather conditions. Methanol soluble.

Grip Tyre Softener

GRIP is the established UK-developed tyre softener, designed to produce outstanding traction in all forms of high-performance driving, from street to full race and using road or racing tyre compounds. GRIP, available in a new “improved” formula, gives all the benefits of soft, sticky tyre compounds without the expense. This non-toxic, non-flammable liquid is simply painted on to the surface of the tyre, whether treaded or slick, and left to cure for 3-4 days to ensure adequate penetration and softening.

Bestchem Ethanol

Bestchem Ethanol also known as E100 which is 100% ethanol and contains no gasoline. It’s an oxygenated fuel and has a (R+M)/2 octane rating of 100, meaning it contains oxygen, therefore more fuel can be burnt, providing more torque and power. It also reduces engine knocking and increases engine longevity as it burns much cleaner with far less carbon monoxide.

Bestchem Ethanol is suitable for flexible-fuel vehicle (FFV) which are designed to run in gasoline or gasoline-ethanol blends.

Bestchem Methanol (for water injection)

Water injection, also known as anti-detonant injection, is spraying water/methanol mix into the incoming air or fuel-air mixture, or directly into the cylinder, in order to cool certain parts of the induction system where "hot points" could produce premature ignition. Methanol acts as a cooling agent, increases volumetric efficiency and lower the air intake temperature dramatically, much more cooling than an intercooler. It also permits the use of very high compression ratios.

Directions: Injection with water/methanol mixture of 50/50 ratio is recommended. This has been demonstrated to be the best for charge/air cooling, excellent detonation control, and controlling cylinder temperature.

Caution: At high concentration and injection rates, methanol can act more like a fuel than a coolant. As you increase the portion of methanol injected, you are releasing more energy into the cylinder as the combined gasoline and methanol burn. You will increase the cylinder temperature rather than reducing it. Beyond 50/50 ratio, onset of detonation is more likely.

Bestchem Methanol Premix (for water injection)

Bestchem Methanol Pre-Mix is a blend of 50% deionized water and 50% methanol. Deionized water which is also known as demineralized water (DI water) is water that has had its minerals removed, such as cations from sodium, calcium, iron, copper and anions such as chloride and bromide. Deionised water in laymen terms means purified process water which has most of the dissolved solids removed. Deionized water should be used in the mixture to ensure the accumulation of scale and foreign matter is eliminated, which may contribute to the accumulation of scale and foreign matter in the water injection plumbing system.

Bestchem Toluene

Bestchem Toluene maximizes engine performance by increasing flame speed resulting in cool, clean burn combustion. It also increased “Anti-knock” effectiveness and Research Octane, ideal for Turbo/Super Charged and high compression cars. There are no metallic compounds (lead, magnesium etc.), no nitro compounds and no oxygen atoms in toluene. Safe for catalyst converters, oxygen sensors, carburettors & fuel systems. Bestchem Toluene has a RON octane rating of 121 and a MON rating of 107, leading to a (R+M)/2 rating of 114. Because it is such an effective anti-knock fuel it also means that it is more difficult to ignite at low temperatures. It’s recommended that the concentration of toluene used not to exceed 30% or what the engine is capable of utilizing. Each 5% addition will increase the fuel's octane rating by one number. Suitable for both Racing Bikes and Cars.

VP C5 Octane Booster

C5 octane booster uses the only truly effective octane improver Methylcyclopentadienyl Manganese Tricarbonyl (M.M.T.) to provide the greatest octane increase available despite the absurd claims of some competitive products.

Directions: For maximum results, add one full bottle of C5 octane booster to every 40-60 liters of premium unleaded fuel. Add prior to fueling to ensure a thorough mixture. Will cause damage to catalytic converters or oxygen sensors with heavy doses or repeated use.

VP Cetanium

Increase cetane for off-road racing diesel applications. Cetanium cleans injectors and pumps and will increase your fuel mileage while it replaces lost lubrication. 32 ounces treats up to 10 gallons.

PowerWash

The newest product in VP’s Consumer Products portfolio is PowerWash, a powerful cleaner specifically formulated for the unique demands of powersports, R/C hobby and other applications. The concentrated dual-action detergent in VP PowerWash rapidly dissolves caked up dirt and mud, suspends and floats away dirt and grease, without leaving streaks or spots.

VP PowerWash is available in three formulas – “Moto,” “R/C” and “Super Concentrated.” Moto Formula is designed for powersports applications such as dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs, as well as bicycles, including road, mountain and BMX. The “R/C” Formula uses a less concentrated blend for R/C vehicles of all types, both in 32 oz. spray bottles. The “Super Concentrated” Formula is packaged in gallons and can be used alone for extremely dirty, muddy and/or large applications such as off-road vehicles or dirt track cars, as well as to refill Moto or R/C spray bottles when diluted with water.

Motorsport Container (Round/Square)

VP Motorsport Containers can hold 20 litres of racing fuels. Carries a 3 year limited warranty against cracks, leaks or splitting.

Power Spout

The Power Spout screws directly on to the pull out spouts found on VP Racing Fuels’ 5 Gallon Pails making the transfer of liquids much easier. The ¼” vent tube allows air to flow in to the bottom of the container releasing the internal pressure resulting in a smooth and quick pour.
